Cut from soft, slubby ivory linen — the same weave used in the villages of western Cyprus for generations — each pouch is hand-stitched closed and tied with natural jute twine.
A single leaf from our family's grove in the hills above Polis Chrysochous finishes every favour — the ancient Cypriot symbol of peace, abundance and a long marriage.
Inside, five sugared koufeta wait to be pressed into the palm of every guest. The pouch lingers long after the day — kept in drawers, on bedside tables, beside wedding photographs.
Every piece passes through Margarita's hands. Linen is cut, edges turned, seams stitched, twine knotted, leaf laid — a quiet ritual repeated for each guest you'll welcome.
