The story
Made slowly, by hand.
In Cyprus, every guest at a christening leaves the church wearing a martyriko — a small pin that marks them as a witness to the child receiving their name.
Ours are hand-tied from soft white satin ribbon, finished with a single freshwater pearl and a fine gold-plated cross. Pinned to a guest's lapel or dress, worn for the rest of the day, and kept afterwards in a jewellery box.
Presented on aged cream card stock, ready to hand out at the church door.
